Clinical Sales Support Specialist

Our client, a fast-growing, innovative technology firm in the medical field is looking for a Clinical Sales Support Specialist to join their highly collaborative team in Chicago, IL as a full-time employee. The Clinical Sales Support Specialist is responsible for supporting all initiatives driving sales through the set up, demonstration of, and maintenance of systems and equipment and to drive utilization at customer sites. Our client offers the opportunity to work for a visionary company with a fantastic mission!


* Drive utilization at customer sites.

* Work with Residents and Surgeons in the OR before and during surgeries.

* Coordinate with OR tech and radiologists to obtain appropriate scan protocols (CT, MRI, etc.).

* Work with Surgeons and Residents in the utilization and adoption of technology and systems.

* Set up of Virtual Reality equipment.

* Provide reports of utilization activity at customer sites.

* Provide information back to sales team to support sales activity and customer satisfaction to increase utilization.

* Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.

* Support sales team to achieve sales goals and objectives through set up and demonstration of equipment.

* Appropriately represent the company and it’s technology in the hospitals.

* Support sales staff and company at trade shows, demonstrations and events.

* Engage with the company R&D team to obtain current product knowledge and support techniques. 

Required Qualifications :


Degree, credentials or experience in a relevant scientific area.

* Medical device experience.

* Knowledge of medical terminology, specifically related to neurosurgery is a big plus.

* Knowledge of Virtual Reality (VR) equipment is preferred; tech savvy candidates without this experience will be considered.

* Mechanical/technical ability and manual dexterity.

* Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to travel in the Chicago area 20-60% of the time, dependent upon account distribution.

* Willingness to work a flexible schedule, as you will need to work early mornings and be available for doctor calls at times.
