Account Executive 


Our client, a large, growing organization is looking for an Account Executive to join their team in Downtown Chicago, IL as a full-time employee. Your territory will encompass the Downtown Chicago area. As an Account Executive, your main accountability will be to grow sales and revenue in your assigned territory or vertical market offering a full line of office technology solutions ranging from office equipment and software to on-site employee services. Office equipment includes a full line of products from Canon, Sharp, Lexmark, Kyocera and Océ. Our client is supported by an in-house leasing division, offering Account Executives a full range of financing options for customers. You must have the ability to listen to the customer, gather their business requirements and create a unique, customized solution building a long-term continuous partnership. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, combined with experience demonstrating and selling office machinery, enjoy working with technology products / services and be a competitive, entrepreneurial, self-directed individual who can grow sales in their territory. Must be effective using a consultative sales approach including:
o Customer development
o Relationship building
o Needs analysis
o Preparing & presenting proposals
o Equipment demonstrations
o Creating new business opportunities
o Networking contacts
o Calling prospective customers

Required Qualifications :


* 2+ years of B2B inside / outside office equipment sales experience ( copiers, printers, etc. ) in the technology solutions industry. Experience selling Managed IT Services is a big plus. 

* Ability to generate new business leads and convert them to sales opportunities; definite hunter skills.

* Flexibility to travel frequently to client sites within the Downtown Chicago territory. 

* Bachelor's Degree. 

* Critical thinking, ability to create unique solutions to the customer's specific needs. 

* Strong dedication to customer satisfaction. 

* Driven, competitive, entrepreneurial, goal-oriented, self-directed and excellent presentation skills.
